My passion for baking started early in my childhood. It all began with my first oven, a 1985 Betty Crocker Easy Bake Oven. Through the years I continued baking mainly as a hobby — until I realized that the joy in people's faces as they ate my cakes produced a sense of accomplishment that means the world to me.

As a certified public accountant, banker, and more recently as I earned my law master's degree, I learned that launching a business is no walk in the park. The Sweet Bakehouse took years in the making, lots of patience, and determination to materialize. I guess there is no rush when you are doing something from the heart.

This business was launched to honor the memory of my dear parents Blanca & Carlos, whom I deeply loved and miss every day. They continue to be my inspiration, and their memories fill my heart with happiness, energy and hope that everything works for the best.
